On Thursday a colleague and I drove out to the Baruch Institute near Georgetown, SC to take down the eddy covariance system on the tower in the locally named Strawberry Swamp. This ended the 10 month data collection of water and carbon dioxide fluxes in the the swamp. We are currently in the process of analyzing the data and are finding some interesting relationships in this very understudied ecosystem! A paper is coming, but in the mean time enjoy some field pictures from the install and take down!
